Spring Racing at Boyne & Friend's Weekend in Harbor Springs

This past weekend 10 friends and I made our way an hour and a half north. The weekend began with an unexpected win by MSU which moved them into the Elite 8.
On Saturday my friends Ben, Libby, Eric, Chad, Derek, Denny, and I raced in the Miller Light League Championships at Boyne Mountain. Ben took 2nd for the men and I took first for the women. Our team was 3rd overall. The race hill was an interesting site due to the unseasonably warm weather however the snow was rock solid. We did our annual tailgate which included lot's of great music, tons of food and cocktails, sledding, snowboarding, plenty of sunshine and a little can jam. All in all, it was a great weekend!

I just returned from an amazing "long weekend" in Summit County, Colorado. I was fortunate enough to ski three sunshine filled days-1 powder and the remaining 2 were spent cruising groomers. It was an amazing trip to the mountains filled with laughs, wonderful friends, great food, epic skiing, and blue skies. A very special Thank You to Jeremy and Libby for their generous hospitality and friendship. Love you both!
Ironically, I was able to reunite with more Michigan friends in Colorado then I typically do in MI. I had a great time reminicing. :)
I'm already looking foward to returning to Colorado next season!

Crystal Mountain Race League

Thursday, March 11th marked the ending of what turned out to be a very entertaining and fulfilling season at Crystal Mnt! Without question, every Thursday was filled a few race runs, lot's of laughs, a couple of beers, and conversation topics that I couldn't make up if someone paid me. :)
We were fortunate enough to win the Platinum Division and both Ben and I won overall male and female. Cheers to a wonderful season and thank you to Dan Brady Painting for supporting our team.

Playa Del Carmen 2010

Hola! On Feb 27th, my Mom, Sister, Niece, friend Jen and I flew to Playa Del Carmen for a girls vacation. We spent the week running and working out every morning, hot tubs on our veranda, reading by the pool, kayaking in the ocean, walks on the beach, banana monkey drinks, wonderful dinners out, a little Tequila, and countless unforgettable memories! We had amazing weather with only one day of slightly overcast skies for a few short hours. I feel so blessed to have spent an entire week with some of the people that mean the most to me!
